However, although the terminations are perfectly regular, stem can be irregular and have numerous variations.
Parachever is conjugated the same way that verbs that end in :
-ever. For sound purpose, verbs ending in
-e-consonne-er:
-ecer (dépecer), -eder (beder), -eger (broumeger), -emer (semer), -ener (amener), -eper (receper), -erer (fosserer), -eser (peser), -ever (lever) et -evrer (sevrer)
transform the
« e » in
« è » before silent endings.
Example:
« semer » :
« je sème »,
« nous semons »,
« ils sèment ». Note : verbs in
-eler and
-eter add an extra
« l » or
« t » to the stem.
Parachever verb is conjugated in interrogative form. For sound reasons, an euphonious
« t » is added to the pronoun of the third person:
« il »,
« elle »,
« on »,
« ils »,
« elles » except when the verb ends with
« t » or
« d »:
« parachève-t-il ">« aura-t-il parachevé ? ».
Always in interrogative form, and always for sound reasons, an accent appears in first person present indicative tense when the verb ends with
« e ». An euphonious
« e » is replaced by
« é »:
« parachevé-je ? ».
Finally, the interrogative form does not exist in subjunctive and imperative.
